What IS DCA?
DCA stands for DuPage Cheer All Stars which is the all star cheer branch of DuPage Cheer & Power Tumbling. We consider ourselves the “cheerleader’s gym” for tumbling, stunting and full support for recreational, high school teams. We are unique in what we do: a power tumbling gym that just focuses on the tumbling needed by cheerleaders…and we also run an all star program that fits with the community’s recreational and high school seasons. We have built a program that has the standards of a regular full season all star program including high level competitions, professionally choreographed original routines, professional accredited coaching staff, all star uniforms and a demand for hard work and dedication from all our DCA athletes. This pushes them to be the best cheerleader they can be and gives them the opportunity to be part of something BIG that represents the mission and core values of this gym.  

History of DCA
We started our first short season the spring of 2010 with a group of girls and parents who believed in what DuPage Cheer had to offer-great coaches who really care, a passion for providing the best program we can provide for these dedicated and talented girls and mostly, a sense of family and friendship when you walk through the door. From there, we spring boarded into starting a full season all star program for the fall of 2010 and with about 24 girls we started DuPage Cheer All Stars. 

What Do We Expect?
We believe that all our cheerleaders are ATHLETES and will be treated as such. We expect commitment, dedication, respect and a true love for the sport. We expect our athletes to come to every practice and miss when absolutely necessary because they know they are part of something big-something that means something to not just them, but to all their teammates, their coaches and all the parents. When you are here-BRING IT. Bring the great attitudes, the heart and soul, the love, passion, commitment…and a smile. If Coach Guy walks up to you during practice and you aren’t smiling, he’ll call you out on it. Above all the talent and skill-smile like you love it.  

What Can YOU Expect?
You can expect a commitment and a love for the sport of cheerleading. You can expect positive and nurturing coaches that know what they are talking about and are excited to share their knowledge with you. You can expect owners who want to know you by name and care about your progress and if you love what you are doing. You can expect administrative staff to make decisions that truly have the best interest of the gym, the team and each individual athlete in mind. You can expect lots of love, some ups and downs, and a whole lotta family. Welcome to the DCA Family…we’re glad you are here!

2011-2012 we have 5 competitive teams with age ranges youth (10 and under) through high school and levels ranging from Level 2-4 and with varying competitive seasons.  Our teams compete at local competitions (meaning within driving distance) with one or two overnight competitions.   Currently we have Energy, Blast, Power, Adrenaline, and Rush.
